USES
Ideal for small repair jobs or when immediate results are required.
Ideal for bonding a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces, including metals, wood, china, rubber and some plastics.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Typical Properties
Appearance: Clear liquid dries to colourless film.
Viscosity: 2500 mPa.s
Grab Time: 2-3 minutes
(depending on substrate and conditions)
Maximum Bond strength after: 72 hours

Heat Resistance:
Cured lap joints made on steel (for 48 hours) were
found to withstand 1500C for 1.5 hours with minimal
loss in tensile shear strength.
Impact Resistance:
When measured to ASTM D950 bonded steel was
found to have 4 times the impact resistance of
standard cyanoacrylate adhesives.
SHIPPING/STORAGE/DANGEROUS GOODS INFORMATION
Storage
Ensure cap is replaced and store in a cool dry place. Cyanoacrylate based adhesives polymerise in the presence of moisture.
Transport
Not restricted
HOW TO USE
Supa Glue Shock Proof works best when the surfaces to be bonded are close fitting.
Surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry and free of dust.
Pierce seal at end of tube by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise.
Remove cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure.
Allow 12 hours for sufficient bond strength for practical use.
HANDY HINTS
Cyanoacrylate adhesives can create a white residue on the surface of a substrate if the area is not well ventilated. Clean the affected area with acetone to remove residue.
CLEAN UP
After use, wipe excess product from nozzle with a tissue dipped in acetone (found in some nail polish removers) and replace cap.
WARNINGS/FIRST AID
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapour.
Selleys Supa Glue Shock Proof bonds on contact, if fingers should stick together, apply a solvent such as acetone to affected areas and wash off with water. If no solvent is available wash area with warm soapy
water and work fingers apart.
Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
Non toxic when set.
